The action at a lot of restaurants is at the bar. This is another dimly lit (romantic) restaurant. What light is there is very warm. The walls are typically dark. The key to shooting in places like this is 1. use a fast lens, and a high ISO sensitivity. 2. use a high-end flash that will not over-expose. 3. filter your flash to an amber color. 4. bounce the flash off the walls if possible.
